sonic port velocity

    G'day from down under ,im hoping that someone can confirm and add to the following information , according to don jackson of DJE the port velocity of a 2 valve head ,supercharged reaches sonic velocity after 18 PSIG aprox 1100 feet per sec.......... can anyone confirm this ? ....... also if correct would the same result be evident with a turbocharger ....annnnd ....... would anyone like to guess if the same would be true for a 4 valve pentroof

    Im starting this topic for more information ,the claim was made twice in Bob Szabo's book 5000 HP on methanol in the intake cycle chapter ,he referenced the claim to Don Jackson of DJE , I have not been able to source any further information from the net re the claim nor the test data ...can anyone confirm the claim or add to the claim ,
