Which turbo is better?

    Which turbo is better...A ball bearing type or journal type...What are the differences? Thanks

    if you have a jb and a bb same specs the bb will spool a little quicker(due to less resistance),, on some bb you need to run an oil restrictor

    if you have a bb turbo its a bitch to replace the bb plus it cost alot more to replace.or atleast it is with a turbonetics.i dont think you would even notice the spool 1 vs the other

    if your turbo is properly sized it should spool when you want it to

    This is a little off topic........ but on our sleds, we are able to run a larger a/r with a bb, and gain some more usable rpm without running into backpressure issues (broader rpm range in boost)
