Hey i bought a Tremec 3550 a while back with everything that I needed to put it in (bellhousing) and some extras (Steeda Triax, clutch, clutch cable, clutch fork, alum DS). Im running out of money now that I just bought the MP turbo. My T5 has like 45k on it and it shifts great. Im wondering If I should just sell the extra stuff and put the tremec in over the winter and not have the turbo done or just sell the tremec and finish up the turbo since the T5 is acting fine.

I have more stuff to sell but I just don't think it will add up to the amount of money I need. And plus it's only a 3550. I think with 400 horses I would rather have a 6 speed T56 anyways. I dont know though. I also have a truck to support so money's kinda tight. And Im going to school. And I'm going to need new tires soon.

    What would you do?

the TKO 600 can handle 600ftlbs
3550 handles 350 but ive heard it can handle more.

3550 works with stock clutch since it has the 10 spline input shaft unlike the TKO.

I know the T5 will die but I could take that out and sell it and not sell the 3550. maybe. dont know what to dooooo.

If I build my own hotside im going to run the crossover around the back because I dont want to deal with flipped shorties hitting my oil filter. It would be a passenger side header stock running around the back into a 2.5 inch log header made from the stock header connected with a V-band setup. Maybe this is what ill do. Only thing im worried about is the 3" downpipe not being able to fit. Im sure it could though.

i like the kit 2. so if ya wan to kkep getting it i don't see a problem. I would just hang onto the tremec parts and sell the t-5 on ebay or so. i would wait on the tweecer untill you get the car done and running. i was wanting a tweecer but havnt bought one yet and had no problems. so sell the t-5 stuff and use it torwards the b&g stuff. Plus whut ever old exhaust you might have (headers)
