I currently have a 393 e-85 blow through combo with a single 106mm but plan on racing a local 10.5 race seriesnext year that either allows a single 88 or a pair of 67mm turbos. My plans for the winter is to increase the cubes and go with one of the setups. which would be more beneficial and make more hp to the wheels.will there be less backpressure with the t-4 housing twins as opposed to a single t-6 1.32 housing

since you're single turbo now...it would be MUCH easier to do the single 88. Pretty much just a turbo swap at that point...

And it might be just fine with the 393... how fast do you need to go in the class?

The majoraty of the class is in the 5.20-30's there is a few that have been in the teens at 140plus in the eight mile I expect to see some 5.0's in the next few races.

You will make way more power with twin S368 units. They measure 67.75mm on the inducer and flow close to 85lbs a min each.

This is true, I was also looking at the 70or71mm option and putting an inlet restrictor on the twins for race day. I see that bullseye has those turbo's are they as wicked as the 67's

Btw, here's some pics for ya. If I go with twins I am going to build a modular system that still allowes me to run my 106 without doing a lot rework.

The physical size of that turbo is a lot bigger than I thought it would be

If you want the easy route I can probably whip you up a restrictor for that 106.

Hey Chris! Ive heard that restricting a 106 down to a 88 puts too much lateral load on the turbo, thats why I didn't want to go that route.

It creates a large vacuum in front of the wheel. Not good for axial load....
