I went trough the same thing. The actual MAP sensor has some little tabs in the plugs holes that dont match the groves on the FAST plug.

Simple fix: Take a super small flat tip screw driver and a butane torch and heat it up red hot. Carefully melt down the tabs in the MAP sensor plugs holes. Be super careful to not leave alot of residue or burn through and thing you dont want to. I did this even thougn ti sounds crude as hell. It works out fine.

Rather than tweaking the sensor to make a 1-bar connector fit, I suggest replacing the connector on your harness. They are available from FAST, ACCEL DFI and probably GMpartsdirect if you can track down the GM part number. A sloppy connection at the map sensor can result in bad things happening.

Worst case, just cut new slots in the connector to allow the tabs in the sensor to fit in there. A 3 bar MAP sensor isn't supposed to fit in a 1 bar (green) connector.
