I did read the sticky but wanted more info. I have a 03 cobra shortblock Ill be bolting my 2v heads on soon. I have read seeveral different threads on the torque specs. One even said tighen so much and let sit over night the repeat 2 more times. I find it hard to believe that it takes 3 days to torque the heads. Any info is appreciated.

I was hoping that someone would chime in that has some tips or tricks. Guess everyone just does it like they say to do on Google. Arp doesn't say anything about tightening so much then loosening one full turn and all that. Wasn't sure if people went with arp specs or ford specs or if maybe one of the mod motor gurus on here has figured out a better way.

I torque them to 90ft lbs using the Ford pattern. No loosening and retorquing. Ford head bolts are one time use, torque turn.

Not to bring back up a dead thread but, did you use the arp lube on both ends of the stud or just the end with the nut?
    Thanks again!!
