I have the RPM converter and want to know what sending unit I can use that has a 5v signal. Will a IAT sensor from a mustang work, like from a 90's model? Really want to monitor air temps.
    Thanks,
    Jesse

So just T the resistor'd 12v into the signal wire going to the aux input box and run a ground, is it that simple?

Close. . .tee the resistored +5v into the signal wire. You can tee into the wire, or just attach it on the same terminal as the signal wire at the RPM cable. Make sure you ground the sensor at the RPM cable for accurate readings.

If you don't have a +5v power supply, you'll need to build one or tap off the 5v supply from an existing sensor.
