t-56 VSS to ECU / VDO gauge

    I was wondering if anyone has used the factory ford T-56 VSS. I was curious as to what type of output sensor it is. Hall / Reluctor etc. I am just trying to get my prewiring done for my ECU, and the Gauges. The incar speedo is the programmable electronic VDO speedo. THe ECU in question is the Autronic SM4.

    Better yet I did find info on a gm vss, that will work, and can get a flying lead, is this swapable into the ford transmission?
