    88' Fox coupe with a 393 / DIY S475 / PG / update 8/30/2013 9.07 @ 148

    I'm just getting started on this build, and I'm wondering if I should stop to take pics as I go along? This car has gone 10.11 @ 133.5 with a stock bottom end 5.0, trickflow track heat heads, DIY 67mm precision turbo, c/4, etc.. I hoping for mid to bottom 9's with the new motor/turbo/trans. Are any of you guys interested in seeing the build? I'll take lots of pic's if I get interest. I have the turbo, the short block is going to the machine shop in 4 days, and 90% of the stuff to get the motor running n/a (intake, dist, flexplate, headers, etc.. ) is on it's way from Jegs. I'm hoping to get it running n/a for the rest of the season (oct) and then start the turbo build. :cheers: :welder:

    Ok, not much to show for the motor, but I'll take some pic's of that tonight.

    393 71' block, Eagle crank, Eagle H-beam rods, Probe -30cc dish pistons,....
    Edelbrock super Victor EFI intake
    TrickFlow track heat heads (stock for now, when the turbo goes on they will have a 205 port job from TEA)
    S475 turbo
    BBK 1 5/8 shorties flipped, 2 1/2 crossover to the turbo, not sure what the down pipe will be
    Custom A/W intercooler inside the car
    More to come

    You will hit bottom 9's easily and I bet you do it under 12lbs of boost.

    Take plenty of pictures and keep us updated

    That's awesome Nate. I saw that you were selling the old kit and it kinda bummed me out, but it's nice to see that it was for a good cause. :2thumbs:

    Couple questions though. Are you still going to keep the MS? Do you have the Track Heat, or Street Heat heads? In your first post you said track heats, but in the second one you said street heats.

    They are the twisted wedge heads that are non EGR. I think they call them street/strip heads or something like that. They are going to go to TEA for a 205 port job. Should work ok.

    I only drink Coors, sorry. :cheers: :welder:

    Why don't you take some time and clean up the engine bay. Maybe paint it the same color as the car :2thumbs:.

    Remember though, I run a drag radial class that has a tire limit of 235/60/15..... It's not going to be that easy.
