O2 Placement in short downpipe

I've got the HP Performance twin turbo kit with the turbos in the front bumper. I will be fabbing up some dwonpipes that go right out the sides of the bumper. I'm worried the downpipe will be too short to get correct readings from the O2. Anyone have this setup?? Where did you locate the O2? I use a BS3 and one O2 on the passenger side. Worried it will get outside air from the short downpipe screwing with the sensor. Any ideas?

I would put them right after the turbos ad use a heat sinc.

If the downpipe ends up being 15" long, that'll put me 3" from the end....you don't think I'd be better off splitting the difference??

What standalone BS3?? Just curious. I run BS3 and John recommended it in the downpipe.

Most likely to have issues, [if any], while idling...Tune it in open loop for that rpm range.

Yup, that's what I'm going to do. Thanks!

I'm not understanding why one would get inaccurate readings just after the headers/manifolds.
