what could this be Knocking or ticking noise

    Drove my car and it was fine even when pulling into the garage. Let it sit for a week then came back to start it up to have this sound in what sounded like 1st cylinder area valve area. Then now started again and it sounds like it is in the middle area of the motor. Any ideas?
