Engine is a .020 over 96 Chevy Vortec small block, I home ported the heads, kept the stock 1.94/1.50 valves. It has a custom ground Comp Cams Hyd roller, 230/[email protected] and .554/551 lift with 1.6 rockers. Home built blow through carb with the help of this board. I originally started out with a much smaller turbo, but then upgraded to a S480 from Dave@Majestic. the wg and bov are both from Tial.

Couldn't clear a new single plane intake and the EV hat with a spacer, had to glass a cowl on reluctantly:

Plain Jane interior with bench seat not much out in the open to give anything away:

I put a full roll cage in that is even certed, you can't even see it in this picture from last weekend at E-town.

    Thanks guys.

It's fast by my standards, it has actually exceeded what i ever wanted it to do, especially with the parts and dollars spent. I still have AFR's in the mid to low 10's so i know there is more. this is a video from Pinks at englishtown 2 weeks ago. It's been a little faster than what it does in the video, but i'd rather not say exactly how fast it is :2thumbs:

What is the clear plastic line running to the side of the carb from the core support?

It looks like it goes over to some sort of regulator set up? Some sort of boost referenced PV is my guess that he can adjust the amount of boost they see? I dunno

The headers are from ebay, SS autochrome. They were 200 bucks delivered to my door. The materials to build a set would have cost more, let alone my time to build them. I figure for 200 bucks i'd give them a try, so far so good.

The nylon tubes are for BRPV's (boost reference power valves). thanks to the guys like Brent over in the Carburator-Boost Tech section, plus a little home engineering, I have a way to tune the air fuel curve other than jets alone. The nylon tubes are hooked to a solenoid which has C02 regulated to 30psi. the solenoid is activated via a RPM switch. With the LM-1 i've been able to see that the Air Fuel goes lean on main jets alone at around 4000 rpm, so at 3900 the power valve circuit is actuated and the AFR's level out for the rest of the run. This alows me a lean mixture to stage the car, and begin building boost.

These are the closest pictures of the carb/tubing, next time i have it out and the hood off i'll take a few more pics.

    Opening both pv's at 3900.
