What gears should I run in a 32 Altered?

    I'm stuck between 3.55 or 3.73 the altered weighs 1800lbs with driver its a 383 sbc with twin gt35s running 10lbs of boost it has a glide with brake and a 32x14 tire. I searched but can't find anything that's this light. Thanks in advance.

    That light, I'd probably go more like a 3.00. I'm running a 3.25 gear with a 29.5x10.5W tire in my 2700 lb Vega (ready to race, with me in it), 355 with a pair of 57mm T3/T4s. It's been 9.66@ 139 so far, leaving on relatively low boost and no more than 16 or so psi total. Out of the two you posted, I think the 3.55s would be better. How much power do you estimate?

    The above is with weight at 1800 and 600 hp. With weight at 2000 (200 lb driver?) & 600 hp, mph is still 155 and change, so you need to gear it for that kind of speed.....

    not sure the power N/A it went 10.18 @ 130.92 with a 1.39 sixty foot
    . Probably would of went in the 9's with some tuning. I would think its putting out about 400hp and hoping another 200hp with the turbos.
