Newbiei here need help with identification of turbo

    I was given this turbo and trying to see if I can find any info on it. looks to be rebuilt.

    Compressor side 106.68mm and 80.77mm
    exhaust 109.347mm and 91.44mm

    is probably considered a 81mm with a big turbine,,, probably work pretty good on a mild big block

    is it worth trying on a 5.3 or 6.0 JY build or try to sell and go a different route?

    Looks like it could be an old tv series Garrett, any pics of the center section. Find any ar numbers on the turbine housing? What are your plans, and goals? Its not the best turbo for a 5.3, but may work on a 6.0 with a cam, and possibly some head work if you don't expect it to make boost at 3k.

    Well it would be on a transbrake so I can make it up to 3000. I'm just trying.to see how much I can get out of a low budget build. And have always wanted to try a turbo out. If not I'll just try and sell turbo and go nitrous. Figured I'd pick you guys Brian before I go a route. I see all these other budget builds guys are having fun with figured I would give it a try.
