New to turbo builds here is my setup. 4.8 LS with single VS racing billet 7875, 1966 Nova wagon 3200 pound car 600hp range, will run a fender dump exhaust on a cutout and a full exhaust either single or dual. What size downpipe do I need also what size exhaust? the outlet on the turbo is 3 inches. thanks

General rule of thumb for down pipe is turbine wheel exducer x 1.25 or about 3.750 in your case" You can fudge it a little, but it would be nice to see at least a 3.5". Dual 2.5 for exh. Some have run a single 3" on something similar, but it does cost some hp. Check out Matt at sloppy mechanics, he has a 4.8 7875 combo and he just did some back to back exh dyno comparisons.
