    The steps :
    1- number one at top dead center on the compresion stroke
    2- stab your distributor at #1<make sure the play on the socket is at half way >
    3- make sure that the magnet lines up with the eye at 50d on the crank trigger
    4- set up your timing <face the dizzy>
    5- sync the timing on the fast with the dizzy

    ----------------------------0--------------------------
    Do you have a start up file setup for your application?

    I have watch these before good videos but unfortunately these don't describe or talk about (stab) as you mentioned and they don't talk about the 50* at btdc that is needed in my application to setup the crank trigger, or the phasing steps needed for my app like setting the crank to 17* to btdc on the compression stroke and align the rotor with #1 cylinder prong in the distributor, but the guys hooked me up. And so this morning I got to turn the key and she fired right up, thanks for everyone's help.

    is simple ,Just like you would a pushrod motor

    btw
    stab is installing the dizzy on the head bolt
    50d = 50d

    exactly .!

    your application & my applications are the same
