I put a new cam request on the cam motion website and got the following recommendation:

    RECOMMENDATION
    Grind Number R2481-2391-14+4
    Duration (intake/exaust) 249/242
    Lift (intake/exaust) .695/.688
    Lobe Center Separation 114
    Intake Centerline 110
    Comments HOT LASH .025
    Price US$290.00 + SHIPPING

My current hydro roller cam specs are .574/.564 - 226/221 on a 114 LSA.

This new solid roller seems very large compared to the hydro. Cam motion is normally very conservative.

Also, would this be considered to be a "low lash" roller?

are those duration numbers at .050?

If so that's a lot bigger than mine in both lift and duration.

Well... I just assummed they were, but it doesn't specify .050. I will email them back and ask.

With over 650 lift that is most definitely 249/242 @ .050. I think low lash would be something like what they speced out for me, it was (IIRC) 242/239 @ .050, .637/.629 114 LSA .016/.018 hot lash. I think your cam would make power to 7500+ RPM's.

That's what I was thinking too, I know mine pulls to 7500 w/o issue and like I said it's even smaller than dsman's.

Good thing is that I'm irish so i'm used to having a small one. :D

Sounds similar to the Isky solid I have in the car I am selling. Though do not have the cam sheet handy to verify.

That is not a low lash cam. Cammotions low lash rollers have a .010 hot lash. Call them up and ask for a street roller grind and you will get a much more conservative cam. It helps alot to talk to someone there. They speced out my 428 street solid at 255/247 608/602 114lc.

    Thanks
    Rick
