The k member will be replaced with a new AJE I bought 15 years ago

 

I am going with a holley carb and no engine management! Will see how it it pans out! The body is coming out so cool!

Judging by the 1st photo you are truly starting at the beginning. Looking forward to the build, I love turbo Windsors.

 

Good luck. Most of the blow thru carb builds I follow turn into efi at some point. I don't even bother, I am sold on a holley termx for all the electronics ever needed.

I am glad to see it staying SBF powered. After changing the water pump on my Wife's Suburban yesterday it's starting to be hard to blame others for the swap to a LS it was so easy. Didn't have to mess with all the other accessories like a SBF, and didn't have to beat it out with a hammer like a mod motor.

 

I'm not sure what i will do with it. I have other stuff to drive. It will be driven but maybe in fair weather to work. I had another twin turbo fox in 2003 but it was stolen. I have waited for this car for years! In 2004 I started gathering parts but they sat and IO built other things. My son found the red turd for me and I decided its

We decided to get rid of the 8.8. I ordered weld 15 X 12's. I got 15 X 325 X 50's. We rolled them under the car measured 53.25. I then ordered a 9 inch from quick performance. With a yukon center and moser 35 spline axles explorer disc brakes. Unfortunately, I have 3 weeks more to wait. The rear end build is slow......................

Is there a back story to the cookie monster?

 

Yes, when my daughter was younger (she is 17 now) she loved the cookie monster. I said I was gonna paint the car orange and put cookie monsters on it! She loved anything cookie monster! I want to get back to it but I have been sick with Covid and busy with work. I also have two other projects I need to wrap up. Hopefully next weekend if the weather is better....
