i have a 6.0 with 43,000 mi. ive really had no issues with it other than sometimes when going up a hill when the gear lowers it makes a awlful sound coming from under the hood. best way to describe it is a tire rubbing on a plastic fenderliner. the truck seems to be bucking with the noise going on and off. im thinking turbo related. of coarse when taking it to dealership it doesnt want to do it. never did it until they fixed a recall when it had around 34,000 miles on it. it only did it when hauling my 24ft trailer with car in it, now it has 43,000 mi and does it with normal driving[but not all of the time] any of you ford techs heard of anything like this/ thanks ken
