HP88 vs GT47 compressor wheel

    Hey guys I'm trying to find out if the HP88 wheel is the same as the GT47/88 wheel. I'm looking at 2 different Y2K 88's one with a 7 blade wheel (I'm assuming T88) and one with a 6 blade wheel (I'm assuming GT47/88). There's about 400 dollars between the two units (used). Any help would be appreciated.

    When purchasing the unit, I would be asking the owners to confirm what you're buying. The old 88mm wheel used in like PT88's and a handful of other units was a slightly curved 7 blade wheel, the GT47 wheel is a 6 blade wheel with a 117.6mm exducer. Will the owners of the units at least measure the wheels up for you?

    I sent over a request on the 6 blade unit to see if they'd meaure it for me. To bad Turbonetics doesn't have a HP88 compressor map listed... :doh:

    Here's a scan of their T88 map. Realize that there are multiple 88mm wheels out there so it could be a handful of others.

    It measured 117.6 and 6 blades so thats gotta be it. I'm gonna take the plunge and find out I guess. :D

    Sounds about right, wish there was a compressor map for it.
