Kind of a disjointed question, but let me take a stab at it:

    408ci
    Forged internals
    Desiring 850hp on a street/strip car
    245cc CNC heads
9.3 compression (desired or already at this point?)

Umm.... given the following, an 88mm T6 based turbo will work. In fact a take off from a fairly large diesel should do wonders for cheap-ish.

A GT88 is about $1300, and like said above should do real well. For pipe size, I would do whatever fits the exhaust port well, 2.5" crossover into a 3" merge into the turbo. Go ahead and put a 50mm gate on it so you can get the boost low enough to get good tuning and not hurt the motor. I take it since you are running 9s already that your fuel system is pretty good, but post up what it is so we can take a look.

i have this combo already , i will need a cam, turbo ,pipes. fuel is a aeromotive 2000 350 gph pump 1/2 inch line, it will be a blow threw set up . i have been told the s480 bulls eye with 110 will work great or the s400sx4 part 1977287 trying to stick with a bw unit thanks ian

    I personally wouldn't run a 1.10 on a 408. Most guys run the 1.32 on 383s, and that's quite a bit larger than the 1.10. A 1.32 S480 would be pretty badass on it.

BW turbos are big, and if you have a small engine bay fitting one will be tough, much less two. Why the hang up on BW turbos, are you a dealer or something? They are great turbos, but size is their biggest disadvantage. You could get into the S300 line, but then you are looking at $1k-$1200 each.

    I agree with the above.
    Also there's already a 4300 lb high 9 combo on here with an S480 1.1. It's on a 383, smaller heads, and carb'd.
For your stated goals twin GT61 or 67's are plenty. An 80mm might do it too, but will be on the small side for your setup.
Low boost requires a bigger compressor to flow enough air. An 88mm is much better suited to your combo.
The S362 or bigger would be what you want for twin BW's. Not sure how you'll get them to fit though. Very few twin 300 BW's on here.
With your setup, you could probably go with a smallish cam like a 235/230hr and shift around 6200 with 10-12psi and do 9's.
1 3/4 will work for the primaries or stepped 1.875 to 1.75 if those heads have large exhaust ports. Straight 1.75 will work though.
Most don't seem to stop at 9.90 so plan ahead.

Do a search on T88 to see how fast you can go with one and what's needed.

twin mpt70's or 76's will do you just fine for your set up. about 1200 for a set and they will spool very well and make you the power you want and are compact t4 housing turbos so they dont take up much room. they will also leave you room to grow.

Right here in our sponsors classified section! I believe VSRacing sells quite a few master power turbos around here.
