I am building a twin TV8101/7101 setup to replace the pt106 for the nova I had to sell. All I need is one 0.96 turbine housing that fits either the 7101 or 7511 to have two matching turbos. I already have the hybrids built, one with a 0.96 the other with a 1.39. What do you guys got?

 

I have an extra 1.39 for a 7101. I didn't know that anything smaller than a 1.08 was available for the 7101 exhaust wheel.I have a matching pair of 8303s I would swap you for your 81/71 hybrids .

 

Yeah I have a TV7511 with the .96 turbine. the exhaust wheels are the same between the 7101 and 7511. Didnt know that until I tried swapping housings. Gotta love the TV interchangeability. I'll post a pic of the 8101 .96 hybrid when I get home. But I found out when taking apart the second 7101 that the exhaust wheel is shot. But I think the 7511 shaft will fit the 7101 center section. Just hate to have to cannibalize a good 7511 but its for the cause...

Im going to have to look at an 8303. Im not familiar with that turbo...

Dont know if you were replying to me or badmedicine but all I need is a .96 housing. I have a good shaft/wheel in the 7511 that I think will fit

 

My local diesel shop sent my wheel off to have it fixed earlier this year. I think he sent it to Joplin Missouri, because it was around the time of the tornados. It costed around $150, so if you can't swap your parts out, that might be an option. They re-balance it and everything there, and do nice work.

 

Cool man thanks for the tip. I measured last night and the bearing journals are in different positions on the shaft so I might have to do that. Also the wheels are ever so slightly different at the major diameter but one or both could have been clipped a little in the past. Either way the .96 7511 housing fits perfectly on the 7101
