Manley pistons for Modular

    How do the manley 11cc dished pistons for a Modular motor compare to say, JE or CP are they of a similar quality or not?

    I got PROBE's in my COBRA.

    Upwards of 500rwhp...

    Looked very good in quality.

    $500 i think it was for the set of 8.

    Thanks for that, but I would like info on the Manley pistons or actual peoples experience with MANLEY pistons not probe.

    Probes are far better then stock however I have not read to many great things on them any forged is better then stock IMO.. We just happen to be a dealer for CP but i would have gotten them either way...

    you can have a solid steel piston but if you detonate wrong, you can shatter it.

    nothing is indestructible(sp?, im tired!)

    i just havent heard of someone splitting or demolishing a A4/Dart/R block yet, but numerious NAME BRAND, $$$ rotating assy's going bye bye regardless of brand.

    Don't bother with them......I've seen way too many fail in the skirt area. All I use are CP and Diamond.
