looking for a quiet reliable fuel pump

    working on a friends naturally aspirated 383, carbureted, aprox hp 500. currently has a noisy blue pump, and i haven't been impressed lately with the reliability of the blue pump. any suggestions?

    Mallory 110 or 140 are great pumps and will work with the Holley 12-803 regulator that's already on the car. The Mallory pump is a gerotor design and is super quiet.

    The holley pumps quiet down a lot if you run a return style fuel system. They last longer too.
