I have read a few of you guys talk about pulling the timing pill out and just running it straight. Do you know if this is the same for a Chevy TPI car? I got a 1991 Z28 and I just want to run 30 deg. locked.

    Thanks,
    Kyle~

Not sure on the Cheby but on the Stang when you pull the connector out then the computer does not control timing. Then you just set it on what you want to run. Should be the same on the Cheby if it has the connector like on a Mustang. :D

At 30* locked it wont start when it is hot, The turbo car get away with 20*-22* locked ,a N/A car would have no power with the timing that low .
