    Promotion, or Cam Motion camshaft?

    How much are you planning on spinning the motor? It's a Hydro cam right?

    Looks like my F303 with 1.7 RR:

    Duration = 226/226
    Lift = .544"/.544"
    LSA = 114* (109*intake/119*exhaust)

    That seems about right for a hydraulic roller turning 6500rpm.

    ok... just wasn't sure,, my "small blower cam" was 550 lift,, the one i have now is 570 lift.....

    should i get it of just get a f303 with 1.7's???

    I have to buy rockers anyways?

    I'd say go with the F cam & 1.7s. The specs will be "somewhat" similar. A lot of guys have had great success with that combo. Plus, you'll save yourself some cash too. ;)

    EDIT: It all depends on what you're looking for. IMO, If it's primarily a race car, and you're looking to get every last bit of power, then the specs on the Cam Motion cam will be dead on for your particular combo. For a mainly street car with some track use, the F cam combo will be your next choice. Then again, I've seen some race cars using the F-cam and making some serious power! :D

    yeah, I know of the guy in corral alot with a turbo pushing 888rwhp with a fcam.... he's told me about it a bit....
    i think your right, I'm not a pro, so it's not going to be every bit needed.. I'll look for a f cam and rockers.....

    When you have different ramp rates and such it's not always just a spec vs. spec type of deal, 2 cams with the same specs from 2 different cam companies can have very different characteristics. Keep that in mind.

    oh, I'm sure of that..LOL it's like ordering a set of mickey thompsons and hoosiers , the same size , but they come different.. I got ya,,,

    I'm just going to get the custom cam... no reason to get cheap on this now.. it's really only $100 difference....
