    Hi
I believe this turbo is new , i got it from someone that never went through his build
    First start , first tune.
    And i saw it leacked
It just look wet.( see the pictures)
I fund out because of the smoke ( oil smoking)
    All the bolts are thight
it is leacking from the bolts
Not from the line or connection (100% sure)
The turbo is one of those gt45 clobe from ebay

    Any ideas?
    Thanks a lot IMG_20240218_121839700_HDR.jpg #ad

Hard to see in the pictures but looks like the seal on the turbine side is leaking. If the install is correct then replace the turbo. VS racing sells the gt45 and has a good reputation.

I assume the one oil line is the feed not the drain, post up pics of your drain line from turbo to pan. What size of line is the drain? Sounds like it could be a drain issue causing it to leak at the seals.

judging by the pic of the lines I'm gonna say that you have a drain issue, the drain needs to be large, I use 10an to 12an for mine.

You need to clock the center section to make the drain point straight down. It could be the pic but it looks like you are clocked quite a bit off.

This is step one to solve this problem, the drain needs to be as close to 12 o clock as possible, if that doesn't cure the leak Id try changing out the drain line to a 12an, that'll be the least expensive option before rebuild/replacing the turbo.

It could be something as simple as Never-Sieze (or a thread lube) seeping out of the screw threads. Since you don't know who put it together they might have added some lube to the bolts. After a few heat cycles it will all dry up and go away.
