Hp guess for turbo stock 5.0L

    It is a 138k mile stock 5.0L in a 92 coupe. It is having a kit built for it by Lance at ForcedInduction.net and it will be done this weekend and will be having a dyno tune at HPP in lewisville, tx. The turbo is a 63-1 .70 compressor and .81 turbine. The car has 190 in tank fuel pump trex inline and 42 lbers with blow through mass air. I plan on running 14lbs to it so with knowing all that what is yalls guess for what it will lay down this monday?

    i say 386rwhp @8-9psi(i think youll definatly lift the heads if they arent studded @14psi) :2thumbs: but some people can run 18 and some lift with 8psi :huh:

    thats odd because i seem to remember seeing some threads about stock motors from t/b to pan making like 515rwhp on 16 lbs and did not lift the heads

    there was a little hold up on finishing the car so it was put back a week on the dyno tune. so next weekend i will know what it puts down and most likely it will be on 10-12lbs not 14 like i wanted

    the 20th, this coming saturday its hittin the rollers at HPP. we did not have it 100% done in time to get it dyno tuned a week or so ago like i had planned. Im gonna need to get some exhaust on this thing, i can't have it sounding like a cut out ls1 for ever >:(

    I would guess the 190LPH pump will fall short on the fuel system side.

    I would guess the car is a 5speed? if so I would guess somewere between 450 and 500 RWHP

    7psi and 18 degrees of timing with 93 it made 347/435, less boost than i wanted to run but it will be fine for now and it sure is a blast to drive

    were those corrected numbers?? why such a conservative tune(7psi 18 degrees)? was it lean?

    Mainly because it has a 7.2 psi spring in the gate and a weak trans atm..

    We will throw 12 psi at it and re-tune it after the G force gets put in. The T5 in it is on it's last leg.

    This thing will be fun as hell then.

    x2 my car is rolling a king cobra clutch and a 140k mile t-5 with almost 500ft lbs of trq running through it

    i will post more results in a few months when i get the g force transmission in my car and i crank it up to 12 lbs and make this bitch really run

    i've got a stock 5.0 (cam/intake only - stock heads have never been off the block) with a 255 pump and 42# injectors running a 62-1 T4 turbo with 14psi... dyno numbers are 483/510 on a daily driver tune. made two 1/4 passes and blew a head gasket... still ran an 11.6 with the gasket giving up the ghost at half track. hehehe
