how much timing do you pull out with boost?

    I was just curious to the street guys running boost with a timing retard...what do you set the base at and how much do you pull out per pound of boost.....lets say If I run 8psi what would you set the base at and how much would you pull out if any?

    Start at around 12-14 of base timing and take out 1-2 degrees per psi. Then alter as needed. If you want to keep bumping up the base timing then once you get to a point where it pings, back it down 2 degrees and lock it down.
