How much power can a stock 4.6 internals hold?

    Hey guys, wondering what a 1997 4.6 can handle... ive heard some bad stories with low boost so it must not be much

    Your setup is pretty important as far as tuning. I have had a 99 4v car s/c for the last 5 year and run around 8psi and around 440rwhp. Its always ran well but really thats about as high as I was comfortable with at the time. Going higher is risking it, there are guys making more that break as well as people making less.
