351 13:1 comp with S400

    I just got a deal on a 351 with 13:1 comp pistons and was wondering whould 8psi with a S400 be ok. Victor intake ported GT40 750DP.

    if you got a deal you can afford to throw a set of lower comp pistons in. eventually your gonna wanna turn up the boost and youll end up having to change em anyway, jmo

    What are you using for engine management?

    You may be able to do something with it using the right fuel and cam, I would think it would be hairy however. I really wonder if those heads on a super high compression engine would be "enough" to support a cam like that as well.

    Just get a head with a huge chamber. What are the gt40 chamber cc's? What are the piston domes?

    It will be a carb setup. It will also be a track car 1/8 mile, I was thinking about runining a head with a big chamber and a thick headgasket mabe. 8psi with race gass.

    I had a similar set up as far as the engine goes. I changed out the pistons before i put the engine in,way easier to do.

    just put a tad thicker head gasket like cometics and better heads

    Is E85 better than race gas.
