Hellion single turbo kit

    Hi guys!
    New to the forum.
    We are in the middle of our build and considering our options on power adders.
    The majority of our budget is in the motor and transmission to allow the car to grow with the power adder improvements only!

    Any suggestions on turbo kit or supercharger welcomed. And what is available in the 5000.00 dollar range of any? Below is quick list of car.
    Can the hellion single system support 1000 RWHP on this car?

    88 mustang GT

    Motor to be 343 ci
    We are shooting for low 8 second 1/4 mile passes with all factory options. A/C, power steering, full interior car.
    Motor is in progress at Bennett racing now.
    R-302 block
    Callies magnum crankshaft (3.25 stroke)
    Oliver billet parabolic rods
    Ross Pistons
    TFS high port 240's
    Super Victor Efi intake conversion
    Comp cams hydraulic roller
    1 7/8 kooks long tube headers
    3 inch mandrel bent exhaust in factory location.
    Weldon 2035 fuel system
    Hughes XP5 powerglide with lock up converter
    Chrome moly tubular k member with a arms
    Aerospace component 4 piston brake system all 4 tires
    Upr front coil over with 150 lb springs
    Lakewood 90/10 struts
    Factory rear springs with one coil removed.
    South side lowers and upr double adjustable uppers.
    Auburn posi lok with 31 spline axles.
    Fast classic engine management.

    considering power adder options now. We will start with the existing Novi 2000. We will sell this charger to upgrade.

    There a lot of options these days for kits starting on the low end with cheap On3 kits and the like, to something better such as you're contemplating.

    If it's the 61 mm kit you're referring to, its not going to take it to 1000 HP.

    The upgrade option the 76 mm 7675 would be the consideration.
    My concern is back pressure on the exhaust side?
    Don't know a lot about turbos just know I want to maintain airflow through the motor.

    i'd go with a 91mm turbo

    if you don't want to do a fender exit for the exhaust you could try and fit a 5" downpipe and split it to dual 3.5"

    what did you have planned for an intercooler setup? its gonna be a bitch trying to get the piping thru the firewall with a/c installed

    Would the 91mm be street friendly?
    Intercooler will have to be A2A front mount for sure.

    I dont really know if it would be street frendly but its big enough to get you low 8's.
