I think the title says it all. What plugs are you using with Pheads?? I was using Autolite 23 when it had E7's on it. Can I use them now??

I had some "p" heads about 7 years ago. I just went to Vatozone and bought some plugs for a 96 explorer 5.0, i dont recall the part # though. Just some autolites will work fine though.

    AUTOLITE
    stock--765 (Heat Range - 5) [14mm, .708 Reach, 5/8" Hex]
    1 step colder--764 (4) or 104 (4) [14mm, .708 Reach, 5/8" Hex]**
    2 step colder--103 (3) [14mm, .708 Reach, 5/8" Hex]**
-----AR473 (3) [*recessed tip, racing plug]
-----AR472 (2) [*recessed tip, racing plug]

**The difference between the 764 plug and the 104/103 plug is the thread. The 764 plug is a half thread whereas the 104/103 plug is a full thread. The full thread plugs are duplicates of the half thread plugs in every other aspect, they both protrude the same amount into the combustion chamber.

Were you guys running yours with boost? I'd like to think at least 1 heat range cooler would be needed...

    Thanks rdub79!! :2thumbs:

I haven'y got mine up and running yet with new turbo setup, but last summer I had the same motor with a 150hp wet shot and used the 103's. The car ran just as good with the cold plugs as it did with the stockers.
