ok cool but will it make alot of power first and it sounds like it well beyond the limitations of the stock shortblock that tells me i chose the right turbo :2thumbs: thanks for the feedback

I'm expecting a lot of lag with mine, (just what the doctor ordered :D) Hopefully full boost by 4500 rpm with my 3200 conv.

MPGT45 is only 68mm, smaller garret GT42 is also 68mm, larger garret GT42 is 74.5, and some 76's, theres a big diff between these.

I'm guessing you have MPGT45 as there really isn't any garret GT45, when people talk garret GT45 they are generally talking about the bigger 42.

i have a gt4294 1.28 t6 on my pretty much stock 302(cleaned up e7s, tfs 1 cam, victor jr, 650dp) i blocked one of the sides off and it starts to build boost around 2600, suprised me, i was expecting it to come in alot later, like 3400 or so

my car has a stock short block with out of the box twisted wedge heads and an e303 cam--victor jr intake and 750 carb--took it to fun ford this past weekend and went a 10.30 at 129mph at 10lbs of boost :chacha:.i was really suprised the car went this fast at that amount of boost.itll get full spool at around 3600-3800 rpm and hold on at that point.i feel that we couild easily split the block if we leaned on it much harder than we have,so get ready to upgrade your shortblock eventually with that turbo.
