Got my B&G kit today and began mocking it up. Had to grind the flanges down a little to clear the head studs and I was looking in the merge pipe and there is a lip where the two headers merge below the turbo. I was wondering if I should grind that out to keep the flow unrestricted. Any thoughts or advice?

Lip inside pipe I'm talking about:

Probably not if you want a warranty still. Have you called them?

Nope, just saw it today. I'll call Brian toorrow to see what he thinks. The lip just looks like it will direct the exhaust from the P/S header away from, or impede the flow to the turbo.

Brian said it will not be a restriction unless I"m trying to make 1000hp, he said I should just leave it alone.
