not sure whats up.

    I have a stock shortblock 5.0 with hci and a turbo and everytime i put heavy load on the engine it feels like it is struggling/breaking up and a check engine light comes on.
    this happens when i try to slowly and as quietly as possible move the car in first or for instance on the highway and going into 5th gear while moving 50mph and then trying to give it some gas to accelerate slowly in traffic.

    any clue whats going on?

    Timing ?
    A/F when it happens ?

    do you notice the gauges are higher than normal? or headlights affect it? if so check for a body ground from body to block or battery.
