exhaust cutouts after downpipe any gains to be had?

    is it worthwhile to install exhaust cutouts after the downpipe? curious if anyone has disconnected their downpipes from the exhaust system and run their car at the track before/after. i know gains will depend on the exhaust system it is connected to, in my case 2.5" exhaust with over the axle tailpipes and magnflo mufflers. rwhp is 600. thanks!

    Made 690@ the wheels w/ my Buick. Opened the dump, added 5 RWHP. Basically, the same exh system you have.
