Any of you guys running these? I know they're popular with the LS1 crowd.... I've got to fab up my exahust from the dp still and was thinking about putting one of these in.. I see the QTP ones are the type the f-body guys use so I'd prob go that route.

I think i'd even be able to hook it up to my AEM and have it open on it's own over like 50% tps, that would be pretty sweet!

I'd be interested to know also, this is one of the options I'm exploring.
It would be nice to keep my existing catback, but have it tuned for downpipe.

i have an older dmh, dont know if they've changed over the years, i dont know anything about the QTP, but i can say the dmh is operated by a momentary switch meaning you have to hold the button til its completely open or closed, if you hold the button for too long you could burn out the motor. I think one that had an automatic stop would be much better.

Ive installed several QTP's. They make a controller now with a timer setup in it. Now its just a push button and both cutouts open. You can even time them independantly to account for one motor being faster than the other.

The e-cutouts leak a tad, and you have to make sure you install them correctly, but theyre cool and convienient.
