Electric Crankcase Evacuation System.

    Anyone experience with this.
    I was thinking about fitting an electric vacuum pump as found on the Mustang Cobra
    ( F6 ZE 9 A486 DC or A1 Cardone 32 3500M ).


    Can these run constant duty or need these to be regulated by switch or regulator.
    By coincidence does someone know the current it draws.

    PCV vents to the outside now ( breathers on each valve cover ). Got tired of the fumes and know there are bhp gains on a proper suction PCV system.

    My thoughts are, one breather stays in place, the other valve cover gets a take-off to a catch can. On the other end of the catch can the pump draws air through the system pumping it into the atmosphere.

    m curious about this as well, what do the ford unit or similar usually cost?

    I run one with a Hobbs switch to only run when 2 psi of boost
