Do I have enough fuel pump?

Hey guys, I am in the final stages of my 1966 Mustang turbo build. I put a new Aeromotive Phantom 340LPH in tank fuel pump in when I switched over to FiTech EFI 2 years ago. I decided to go non intercooled due to space under the hood on a 1966 Mustang. My question is - will I have enough fuel pump to run e85 with my setup? I really want to run it because I feel like it will work good with my higher compression (just under 10:1) and non intercooled. My plan is to run the car around 5psi which should put we close to 400 RWHP. I have -8 feed and -8 return and am running a 1200hp FiTech. Would also look at VP MS109 but the cooling properties of E85 is very appealing. Any advise would be appreciated.

Probably... depends on several things. Voltage, fuel system restriction, total pressure...etc. If that pumps rated for say 650 on standard fuel it will support roughly 30% less power on E85. I usually factory 40% to be safe.

Add some 50/50 water/meth injection since you're going without an IC anyway. It will help add a little fuel as well as keep you out of detonation.

I bought a water/meth kit from Alkycontrol. Going to give the E85 and that a try and hopefully that works well!

I think you’ll be ok. I run the AEM380 and it started dropping pressure around 12psi on a 5.3 liter. (no IC on E85). I ended up with a voltage booster on it and run 15lbs now with the 50/50 kit on it and it does well. I’m sure it’s in the 600+ range.
