Comes down to trap speed (which equates to an RPM), but the issue is what will your trap speed be? Too many unknowns to calculate rear fear ratio until you can get consistent 60' times. I'd use the 3.42's as a total guess.

 

Depends on what converter you have. A very efficient converter and I would go with the 42. If you have a basic $450 10" I would do the 73. You're not likely to run out of RPM with either set in 1/8. Unless its a really bad machine.

 

With the weight of a truck, go with 3.73's. Personally, I would go with at least 4.10, turbo or not.

I agree. Heavy weight and 1/8thmile... Go with a much shorter gear.

 

I say the 3.73's.. If it's under 4k, that's actually pretty light for a truck, and the 275 isn't an overly tall tire. I would want the load of the 3.73's over a 4.10 or lower.
