Anyone use Ball/socket flanges instead of Vbands pre-turbo?

    [HR][/HR]Getting ready to build another turbo kit and a buddy has several of these laying around for free. I'm tempted to use them, but curious if anyone else has used them pre turbo with success?

    id try it.. may have to use a little sealant but sould be minimal at best,,
    i think guys like to use those instead of the 3 bolt header flanges

    I did, worked perfectly fine.

    BTW.... If you have a couple 2" couplers to spare I could use a few lol.:cheers:

    i used to have an 07 f150 with a rear mount turbo. the header to y pipe used a ball flange on each side and i never hand any issues

    used them years ago...

    worked fine but had some carbon tracks showing some slight exhaust leakage.
    maybe smear some high temp copper rtv on them to help seal
