    I have an 89 mustang with a
    T-61 turbo
    42lb injectors
    stock block with ported e'7's
    small camshaft
    performer rpm intake
    3.55 gears
    stock compiter

I was wondering if going from a 3 inch to a 3.5 would make a decent difference. It pulls hard but just feels like something is holding back on the top end. let me know if you have any ideas thanks.

With the 60-1 the 3inch is plenty.

yea the heads are E7's and a small camshaft isnt a stock camshaft- it is the older systamax camshaft but i cant find specs anywhere on it. yea I have a MAF its an 80 and a 70mm TB

The t61 is not a 60-1, it flows a solid 5-8lbs/min more than a 60-1. The 60-1 is an oldschool wheel that works but its not even close to how awesome the 61mm compressor is. Your turbo will stop making power around 670, unless you have a shot behind it. Depending which turbine housing you run, I may consider a 3.5"turbo back exhaust just for peace of mind, but it should not be necessary with that turbo.

It's not much bigger. Certainly not big enough to need a 3.5 inch exhaust.
