what would you suggest for 1k max fwhp on e98?

it is a 302ci motor with twins-looking for best resolution / spray pattern.

I highly recommend Injector Dynamics 2000cc. You can read about them below. If you would like shoot me a private message and I will get you pricing on a set. If they're not within your budget I can set you up with what I would recommend after Injector Dynamics.

160's @ 50-60 psi would support the hp. maybe some challenges with idle. is this street/strip or....

With E98 it's not going to be possible with a max of 1530cc worth of fuel. You're going to need a minimum of 2000cc worth of fuel on E98.

For that kind of fuel I would consider some Moran billets.

Big as you can get in there. Every car is different, but from datalogs today, we were 81% duty cycle at 16psi with 120's on a 347 on e85. If it was e98 I would have been out of injector. Take alphas advice and go for the 2000's or at least 160's. With the e98 you shouldn't have a problem with idling with 160's as your base pulse width should be high enough.

A few things to note about the Injector Dynamics 2000cc/190lbs fuel injectors. You can get them as low as .8mSec and as lean as 16:1 on E98 without issue. With the right fuel pump and fuel regulator you can effectively make them flow 3300cc/314lbs. Like I said. If you're looking for 1000hp you're going to need roughly 2000cc/190lbs worth of fuel. At a 60lb base pressure with ID2000 fuel injectors you will be at 2575cc/245lbs worth of fuel.

    thanks for the info guys.

alpha-i think the id2k's will be outta my budget for now :'(

my main concern w/bosch based 160 is idle / low speed with the low airspeed / small ci. what would be the next choice down the price range that would work. i will probably need to stay 1200 or less to fit the budget as it stands now.

You will need what Alpha suggested min. I max'ed my ID1000's at 790rwhp with E85. You can get away with 160lb injectors with E85 and 1000rwhp but you said you will be using E98 and that will burn even more volume of fuel. You will have zero issues with idling using big ID injectors. My car idles at 850-950rpm with a clean 15.5 AFR.

I am still using the ID1000. Have not done much with the car much since chassis dyno'ed. With the turbo i am using now, i can get by. If i step up to an 88mm then i will go to the ID2000. You can't go wrong with the ID injectors. Money well spent. I have zero issue with low speed or idle.

I just installed a set of id2000s. I had my car idling at 700rpm at 15:1.

Just finished my car with it's factory computer and a Versafueler pushing Low Z 160's.

Car idols at 720 rpm's with no issues

    160's and a Versafuler $850
    ID2000's $2000

I didn't want to spend the money on ID's , plus I wanted to be different

tdr-will actually use both. it is easier to get e98 by the drum here so far. no many stations with e85 still.
