I will be picking up my BS3 here in a few weeks and I plan to install it myself on my fox mustang. Although at this particular time there are not many install manuals or instructions online that would allow me to get a peek of whats to come. I just have a few questions for you BS3 guys out there. Once I have it installed I plan to have a local tuner "Eric Stubbs" give me a little rough over view of the system to get me started.

Is a crank sensor and cam sensor both required for a distributor, single coil fox? On a scale of 1 - 5 of 5 being the most difficult, how would you rate the the install and first start up for a first time user? Any tips that may be helpful?

 

you can view the manual on bs3's website. id say the install is about a 2 or 3 for anyone with general mechanical knowledge
