custom comp cam......on a 383?

    Okay I have been looking for cams, tried a few places to get one spec'd/build and no responses. Also living in canada sucks too lol.

    Anyways I was using that Comp dyno thing they have and was looking for cams they recommend for my setup and the only one that looks apealing to me is this one.

    Comp Cams #249-07-305-8

    Xtreme Energy 276HR-14 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft Only

    OKay some quick specs..

    383 LT1
    LE2 Heads
    Ported Intake
    -28CC JE's
    Forged crank/rods.
    74MM Garrett/AiReasearch T6 Flange....96A/R Hot/.95 A/R Cold.

    Want to run 10-12lbs on meth and MAYBE 14ish on RaceFuel.

    Looking to get 600RWHP

    Would this cam work?

    I was looking at urs on yellow bullet, only thing is im running 1.6rr's and dont wanna change my springs to ru ur cam. Im trying to stay under .580ish lift.

    I have a VERY similar cam on my 358. I would think that cam would be slightly too small for a 383 NA, not sure how great it would be with boost. Probably would do fine.

    My cam was picked up last Friday at Comp Cams. 230/230 @.50, .900 base circle, .590/.590 with 1.6 rockers,114 lobe sep,solid roller billit cam with an everwear gear. COMBO 383,8.5 to 1,RHS 220 intake runner aluminum heads,CSU 750,with a S475.How do you guys think this will sound with a 4" downpipe with a Dynomax bullitt or two.
