Are you looking for 450 wheel hp or 450 flywheel? That hx 35 is about 58mm but it isn't going to be the ticket for a 302 ci to get what you want . For that power I'd really consider the 69mm gt45 ebay or one of the vs units in a 60-66 mm . If you have the money to spend a .91 s366 would be great for what you want and m&m is a dealer for them .

57mm. Technically it can move enough air to make that power at the crank but it's definitely at the small end of things, you'll be really lucky to get everything sized and matched just right to make it work, and it will be touchy to drive on the street (part/light load boost...)

I thought it may be a little small for 450 crank hp.
however to get the car sorted, build hotside - cold side, fuel and electronics etc....
thought it may not be a bad option being free.
it's a t-4 flange so replaceing it with a bigger unit not including the retune should be a painless event.
sell this one after its ran would more than pay for a e-bay gt45.

FWIW, I ran a HX52 ( 67- 72 MM depending on what you get) turbo on my 302 and I gotta say, it was a great match. The HX35w will be too small IMO, and like others have said a GT45 can be had cheap and would work well.
