No, I have the 78. I was thinking about the 88, but it requires more changes than I am willing to make at this point. I was telling Geddy how I just need to get the thing running first then maybe down the road have Brian make the changes for me. Your car running yet?

That is cool to see side by side.I had a pt 76gts on my car last year and went 8.93@ 150.Then i got the hair brain idea to go to a pt 88.So far that seems to be a waste of money.I havent gone not one tenth or even one hundreth faster with the 88.My mphhas gone up 4mph but nothing else.i have gone from 19lbs to 23 and no diff.So im not sold on my 88 yet. >:(

That T-4 Precision housing is the same one that my Majestic 88mm turbo is built on. My car is no track terror....yet but it has been 170 MPH with that turbo to the 1/4 and well over 1300 HP. You can only get that housing from Precision though and from what I remember, you can't buy it seperately :bah:.

seems like that 76 would have been a restriction on the 408 and I'm really surprised the 88 didn't pick-up alot.

you think by reading on here that a 408/t-76 combo would only rev to 3000rpms and blow it self apart. the car ran great and didn't have any headgasket issues. he made 800 @ 20psi w/t76 and 835 @ 20psi w/pt88.
