rear gear?

    Help with rear gear ? Building a 4.6 with high c/r and custom cams, heads fairly stock with a few upgrades no porting …. E85 most the time. 93 when stored for winter and just to get to e85 pump.... single turbo 76/85 precision with 1.12 ar. The car is 6 speed built viper spec t56. I will turn the rpm 7.5 to 8k rpms, street/strip car weekend toy. The track is 1/8th mile no 1/4th... The current rear is 3:73, should I consider 3:31 or 3:55? thanks

    Thanks for the reply. I got one answer for 3.55 and so looks like I am close to the right gear either way.

    Keep the 3,73 for now, you will know after a few passes if you need to change them. That trans has got pretty tall gearing so you should be in the ball park.
