Ring gap

    Building a .030 over BBF with Racetec forged pistons , 10# boost on E85, Blow thru carb.

    how much ring gap per inch?
    Hastings says .007 to .009/ inch ?
    .030 or .035?
    Go with 035 since you will not see a difference in blowby?
    Thoughts??

    This isn't the tech question section but I'll answer. Go .035 top and .038 or larger for second ring.

    .007 per inch is plenty for that. .030/.032 imo.
